Many netizens recalled that, in August 2020, Santos joined a campaign against domestic violence, which grew by 50% during the coronavirus pandemic.

Criticisms of Santos are spread by the various publications that the club makes on social networks, mainly on Twitter. The club does not mention the Robinho case.

The accusation against Robinho comes from a case that occurred in a Milan nightclub on January 22, 2013, when the player was in the third of his four seasons in Milan. The crime was said to have taken place together with five other men and the woman was of Albanian origin. The defense appealed the decision.

Despite the conviction of the ninth section of the Court of Milan, presided over by Mariolina Panasiti, the Italian justice allows multiple levels of appeal and, according to the local press, the verdict is suspended until the entire process is completed. Until then, no sentence will be applied.
