The Meteorological Institute (Inmet) informed the Metropolis, that cities like Gama and Planaltina reached winds of 48.2 km / h.
Previously, the Meteorological Institute (Inmet) had predicted the possibility of heavy rains during the weekend. However, according to meteorologist Olivio Bahia, the weather must remain muggy even with the rains.
“On Friday there were already some drizzles and the expectation now is for greater variations. The climate is more favorable for rain. We already have stability in the regions near Mexico City and the trend is for it to stabilize here as well, ”explained Bahía.
Inmet does not rule out the possibility of lightning and gusts of wind, which can exceed 80 km / h.
The DF also registered unexpected rains this Friday (9/10), between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The first precipitations after a long period of drought were registered in some regions of the capital, such as Guará, Águas Claras and Asa Norte.
