The mission destined to Qatar World Cup started in style. This Friday (9), the Brazil he won Bolivia 5-0 at Neo Química Arena, in a match valid for matchday 1 of the South American Qualifiers. Marquinhos, Roberto Firmino, twice, Rodrygo and Philippe Coutinho scored Canarinho’s goals.
The count could even have been higher. In a match marked by attack against defense, goalkeeper Carlos Lampe appeared with good defenses and prevented Bolivia’s defeat from being even worse.
With the result, Brazil assumed the leadership of the Qualifiers. When Colombia beat Venezuela 3-0 earlier, the team led by Tite takes the lead in the standings by the highest number in goal difference. Bolivia, consequently, is the last classified.
The two teams will play again next Tuesday, for the second round of the Qualifiers. At 5 pm (Brasilia time), Bolivia faces Argentina at the Hernando Siles Stadium in La Paz. Brazil enters the field at 9 pm to meet Peru at the National Stadium in Lima.
CANARIAN PRESSURE
Brazil wasted no time attacking. After 40 seconds of play, Éverton wasted a real chance to score. Lampe let Renan Lodi cross and shirt 19, practically in front of the goal line, caught the ball badly. Minutes later, a header from Marquinhos passed near the post. From the beginning, the Canarian offensive drive was present.
It was a game of attack against defense. Bolivia, with absences, scored with five players inside the area and hindered any advance of Brazil. In this scenario, Canarinho broke La Verde in the only way he had left: on the dead ball. In a rehearsed corner play, Danilo crossed Marquinhos, alone, to put him at the back of the net.
YES SIR!
The match was developed as a luxury training session for the Brazilian team. Even with his foot out in the middle of the first half, Canarinho dominated possession of the ball and cornered Bolivia, with serious creation difficulties, on the field itself.
Such an offensive creation ended up turning into goals. In a play that involved Renan Lodi, one of the main escape valves of the Brazilian scheme, he crossed Roberto Firmino to stretch his foot and double the Brazilian advantage in the first half.

IT SEEMS EASY …
The second half started in the same way as the first 45 minutes of the game. Without taking his foot off the gas, the count turned into a beating after three minutes. The Bolivian defense did not find Neymar, who took off and played for Roberto Firmino to score the second in the match and the third for Canarinho.
The fourth goal was scored with a little help from Bolivia. In a play created by the right wing, Rodrygo deflected a cross, but the last to touch the ball was defender Carrasco, who put it against the net itself. In the minutes, the goal for the Brazilian forward was confirmed.
DO NOT STOP!
Bolivia, knocked out, was looking for ways to avoid an even worse score. Brazil, with its leadership already guaranteed, was looking for ways to stay even further on top. Neymar waited again in the 28th minute: this time, the crossing of the 10 shirt found Philippe Coutinho as a surprise element inside the area to head.
Brazil did not stop. Despite the changes promoted by Tite, the green and yellow team kept pressing on a high line and annoying Bolivia until the end. La Verde, however, managed to hold on. The score, however, was not due to satisfaction: victory 5-0.
