Earlier today, Japanese YouTubers played PlayStation 5 and featured a number of games, mostly Astro Game Room me Godfall. In addition to the YouTubers, two Japanese sites 4Gamer and Dengeki brought up some interesting console details.
According to the 4Gamer website, the PS5 is pretty quiet. The site said it played Godfall in a room with a temperature of around 30ºC due to the lights of the study, but they barely heard the fan of the PS5. They noticed that the air emanating from the console was warm, but not hot. The 4Gamer was unable to locate a heatsink on the console and suspects that the top is housing a huge 200-240mm fan.
Dengeki’s team also claims they did not hear any noise from the refrigerator while playing games. Astro Game Room me Godfall for about an hour and a half. “When we were finishing the game, we thought, ‘hey, was the fan really spinning?’” They wrote.

Parallel to this, DualSense will now have universal button logic (via ResetEra). As in the rest of the world, players in Japan and Asia will press X to confirm, instead of O. This news received mixed responses. While some users liked the change, others criticized it.
“Playing PS4 games that have O to confirm and then having to switch to X to navigate the PS5 menu will be a nightmare,” said Tokyo-based Twitter user johntv.

The PlayStation 5 will be launched on November 19 in Brazil.
