Payment of emergency extension assistance occurs as follows: after payment of the fifth installment From the R $ 600 aid, the R $ 300 aid begins to be paid. “Everyone will receive five installments of the emergency assistance. After receiving the five installments, if there is time, they will receive the emergency extension assistance”, explains Pedro Guimarães.
Also according to Caixa, 5.7 million of Brazilians will no longer receive emergency aid. This is because, for example, some Brazilians have found another source of income or for some other reason no longer meet the requirements.
Payments in Brazil
Caixa Econômica Federal has already paid R $ 213.8 billion related to assistance from the Federal Government. Of this total, 34% or R $ 72.5 billion were paid to beneficiaries in the Northeast, the largest region in the country in terms of benefit payments.
According to Caixa, R $ 213.8 billion 67.2 million beneficiaries were paid.
