Before the ball rolled, Sergio Sette Câmara criticized Rubro-Negro’s position when calling the Common Justice to postpone the match against Palmeiras, and demanded a sanction in the sports area.
The judicial mess about the match between Palmeiras and Flamengo, disputed this Sunday afternoon after much uncertainty, continues to give something to talk about. Faced with the definition that the ball would roll normally, in an interview with Rádio Itatiaia, the president of Atlético-MG, Sergio Sette Câmara, criticized the attitude of the red-black board and demanded punishment from the club in the sports area.
– Atlético (Mineiro) is accompanied by many other clubs and the CBF itself in the sense that the judicial measure forged by Flamengo, through this union, chaired by one of its employees, to postpone the match against Palmeiras, it has no foundation whatsoever. . Flamengo has to respond in the sports area. The application of the penalty, which I have not yet studied in depth, is the championship ban and automatic demotion to Serie B – said Sette Câmara, even before the ball rolled.
The president of Atlético-MG referred to the employee José Pinheiro dos Santos, who is part of the Flamengo security team, and is the current president of Sindeclubes (Union of Employees in Clubs of the State of Rio). On Friday, the TRT-RJ accepted the union’s request and suspended the match, but the court order was revoked on Sunday following a decision by the TST.
– I think it’s time for football to kick in. Flamengo believes that they are better than all. It is one more club that participates in the Brazilian Championship. All 19 clubs are lined up, I think. If Flamengo wants, he can do his championship alone. And we do ours without Flamengo. You will not miss it, ”he added.
Sette Câmara also positioned himself on social networks on the subject this Sunday. The president of Atlético-MG criticized Flamengo’s use of Common Justice to postpone the match.
The regulations are clear, with very severe sanctions: the clubs cannot claim or benefit from the decisions of the “Common Justice” that concern the organization of competitions.
