After the uncertainty, the confrontation was only confirmed after the TST (Superior Labor Court) accepted a request from CBF and reversed the decisions of the Rio de Janeiro Regional Labor Court (TRT-RJ) that had decreed the postponement of the game. . Flamengo, with a team completely disfigured by a Covid-19 outbreak and commanded this afternoon by Jordi Guerreiro, made a balanced match and surprised a Palmeiras with many problems in the creation.
With the result, the two teams lose the opportunity to get closer to the leader Atlético-MG. Palmeiras, with 19 points, is in fourth position and Fla, with 18, is sixth.

Just around 3:50 p.m., the TST (Superior Labor Court) granted the CBF appeal and accepted the confederation’s request for the match, which confirmed that the teams would go to the field. This was the last resort and there was no possibility of appeal.
Before that, Palmeiras threatened to ask for the Brazilian Championship to be stopped if the game did not happen.
