The moving average of deaths, calculated based on the number of deaths in the last seven days, is 693, which represents stability compared to the last 14 days.

Three states registered an increase in the variation of the moving average compared to 14 days ago: Amapá (29%), Rio de Janeiro (29%) and Roraima (100%). Nine states and the Federal District experienced a drop in deaths and another 14 states were stable.
Of the regions, all were stable: Midwest (-12%), Northeast (-3%), North (-8%), Southeast (2%), South (-14%).

There were 31,911 new confirmed cases between yesterday and today, totaling 4,689,613 infected by covid-19.
The government considers 4,040,949 recovered cases and states that there are 508,127 patients under follow-up.
Bolsonaro releases R $ 2.5 billion to join the global vaccine program
Yesterday, President Jair Bolsonaro released about R $ 2.5 billion for Brazil to join the global vaccine program against Covid-19, called Covax Facility. The alliance is coordinated by the WHO (World Health Organization).
The release is contained in two provisional measures issued yesterday afternoon. The values disclosed are for the country to “buy the equivalent to guarantee the immunization of 10% of the population by the end of 2021, which allows it to serve populations considered priority,” says an extract from a statement published by the General Secretariat of Presidency of the Republic.
Adherence to the program will allow access to the portfolio of nine vaccines in development, in addition to others that are still under analysis. The global vaccination plan aims to ensure the purchase and distribution of doses of the Covid-19 vaccine fairly and worldwide.
