The defense of the federal deputy Flordelis (PSD-RJ) affirmed that the parliamentarian does not usually attend “ballads” and “nights”. The statement can be found in the habeas corpus petition filed with the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice. The information is from the newspaper Extra.

In the document, Flordelis’s lawyers ask the judges of the 2nd Criminal Chamber to suspend the judicial decision, determining that the parliamentarian must remain at home during the night (from 11 to 6 in the morning) and be monitored by an ankle brace.

“In the specific case, the measure of removal from home is not relevant, but also unacceptable, since the accused is not given to ballads, evenings or festive events, leading a dying and dedicated life, in addition to her parliamentary activities, to maintain your home. in good condition, but strongly opposes the use of electronic anklets, ”the lawyers wrote in the petition last Tuesday. No decision has been made yet.

Since Friday (18), Justice tries, without success, to notify the deputy about the court order. On Tuesday (22), Judge Nearis dos Santos Carvalho Arce, of the 3rd Criminal Court of Niterói, determined that the parliamentarian should be notified of the decision in Brasilia (DF).

After knowing the decision, the parliamentarian will have 48 hours to report to the Rio Prison Administration Secretariat so that the ankle brace is installed.
