A man was arrested on the spot after trying to kill, with a knife, his 61-year-old partner in the early hours of Monday (21), inside a motel, in Taboão da Serra, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. Information is from R7.
According to the Military Police, the woman said she was sleeping when her partner, with whom she had 10 children, tried to attack her. She ran away and left the 65-year-old bricklayer in the room. The victim had a wound in the chest area.
Also according to the police, the Special Tactical Actions Group was called into action. The team spent three hours negotiating with the suspect, then stormed the scene and pinned the man down. the man and the victim received medical attention in different hospitals.
The case was registered as an attempted murder and attempted domestic violence in the 2nd Police District of Taboão da Serra. The knife used in the action was seized. The police also investigate whether the older person has mental disorders.
