The Justice of Rio de Janeiro did not summon the federal deputy Flordelis (PSD-RJ) on the decision that determines that she will be monitored for an ankle brace. According to the newspaper O Globo, for this reason, judge Nearis dos Santos Carvalho Arce, of the 3rd Criminal Court of Niterói, determined that the parliamentarian must be notified of the decision in Brasilia (DF).
On Tuesday (22), Flordelis was in his functional apartment in the federal capital. She was heard by the magistrate of the Chamber of Deputies in the disciplinary process opened against her. The parliamentarian is accused by the Public Ministry of the State of Rio (MP-RJ) of being responsible for the murder of her own husband, Pastor Anderson do Carmo. The pastor was shot dead on June 16, 2019 at the door of her home in Niterói (RJ). The deputy denies being involved in the crime.
In the decision on Friday (18), the Rio Justice determined that the parliamentarian must be monitored and remain at home from 11 pm to 6 am. AO Globo, Flordelis’s attorney, Anderson Rollemberg, reported that his client will only come to Seap after the habeas corpus trial in which the defense attempts to overturn the court decision. The lawyers filed habeas corpus on Tuesday (22) in the Second Criminal Chamber of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro, but it has not yet ruled.
