– Is the time easy? No. The timing is not easy. But time is wise and knows that it cannot separate the inseparable. So who knows, our destinies have crossed so that together we can face this stormy moment, a very stormy moment, I would even say a stormy sea. Although we surf the Internet today, we also navigate stormy seas. But I am sure that, with everyone’s support, we will make this journey and I am sure that we are much closer to the port than to the shipwreck. God help us, ”he said.

In the session, Fux presented five lines of action for the next two years, when he will be in command of the STF and the CNJ: the protection of human rights and the environment; the guarantee of legal certainty that leads to the optimization of the business environment in Brazil; combat corruption, organized crime and money laundering, with the consequent recovery of assets; Promote access to digital justice and strengthen the constitutional vocation of the Supreme Court.
