Brazil has 137,367 confirmed coronavirus deaths as of 8 a.m. on Tuesday (22), according to a survey by the consortium of press vehicles based on data from state health departments.

Since the balance of 8 pm on Monday (21), 2 states have updated their data: CE to RR.

On Monday, at 8 p.m., the balance indicated: 137,350 dead, 455 in 24 hours. As a result, the moving average of new deaths in Brazil in the last 7 days was 748 deaths, a variation of 8% compared to the data recorded in 14 days.

And the the first time the country registers a growth in deaths since August 10. However, it is still considered that there is stability in the daily confirmation of new deaths.

In confirmed cases, on Monday night there were 4,560,083 Brazilians with the new coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, 15,821 of those confirmed on the last day. The moving average of cases was 30,077 per day, a variation of -1% in relation to the cases registered in 14 days.

Total no, 5 states showed high deaths: RJ, SP, GO, RO and RN.

The states of SP, GO and RN, which were stable, now register an increase in deaths. The DF and the EC, which were falling, now have the average death rate in stability. The PI and MT, which were stable, showed a decrease in deaths today.
