Senator Mara Gabrilli (PSDB-SP) used social media to share a feat carried out by the parliamentarian, which she had been prevented from doing for 26 years.

The simple gesture of signing the name with the hands stopped being a routine for Mara when she suffered a traffic accident in 1994. After the episode that left her quadriplegic, Gabrilli had to readjust her life and in 1997 she began to fight for the rights of people. with disabilities.
Currently as a senator, Mara has held the position of secretary of the Disabled Person in São Paulo, as well as a deputy and federal councilor.
