The Bolsonarista deputy Daniel silveira (PSL-RJ) affirmed this Sunday (20) that he only wears a protective mask where “idiots fill the bag” and defended disobedience to the law that requires the use of masks in closed places.

“The masks are making people sick. I only put it in places where idiots fill the bag and leave their noses uncovered. There is a law, but if society does not obey it, it will fall into disuse. If the parliament insists on maintaining, the people, who are the owners of democracy, must give their voice, ”the deputy wrote on Twitter.

In August, Congress overturned President Jair Bolsonaro’s veto on the law that requires wearing the mask in commercial and industrial establishments, religious temples, schools and closed places where people gather.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the use of a mask is an effective measure to limit the spread of the new coronavirus, along with physical distance and hand washing. And even more so when they are used in mass, since their users protect each other. Experts also reject the claim that wearing a mask can cause illness.
