Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) appears in the Ibope poll, published this Sunday by the newspaper O Estado de S.Paulo, with 8% of the voting intentions for the São Paulo City Council, behind federal deputy Celso Russomanno (Republicans), with 24%, and Mayor Bruno Covas (PSDB), with 18%. As the margin of error is three points, Russomanno and Covas are tied regardless of the margin of error.
The coordinator of the MTST (Movement of Homeless Workers), despite appearing numerically ahead, is technically tied with former governor Márcia França (PSB), who boasts 6%. Depending on the margin of error, Boulos can have 11% to 5% and France, 9% to 3%. The same margin also places the two technically tied with Arthur do Val (Patriota) and Joice Hasselman (PSL) who, with 2% voting intentions each, can, in theory, reach 5% at the margin limit.

The expectation is whether Bolsonaro, Doria’s enemy, who indicated that he would not campaign in the first round for anyone, will explicitly recommend voting in Russian. Two of his sons, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro and Councilor Carlos Bolsonaro, are among the Republicans, linked to the Universal Church, an ally of the government.
Lower rejection than Covas, Russomanno, Fidelix and Hasselman
Boulos celebrated a lower rejection than other top-ranked candidates in the poll. When asked by Ibope “who would not vote at all”, 13% of respondents cited the name of the MTST coordinator.
With the greatest rejection were Bruno Covas (30%), Celso Russomanno (24%), Levy Fidelix, from PRTB (21%) and Joice Hasselman, from PSL (17%).

Boulos points out that it appears in second place in the spontaneous voting intention survey, with 5%, only behind Bruno Covas, who would have 7%. The number has not been officially released.

The survey also shows Boulos with a preference of 15% among those with higher education, but only 1% for those who attended primary school. At the same time, it has 17% support among those who earn more than five times the minimum wage and 2% among those who earn even an SM.
