HE National Institute of Social Security (INSS) announced a 25% increase in the amount of retirement for some beneficiaries. However, the change is only applicable in some cases of retirees due to disability. The change is about the assistance of a companion.

The additional was created with the objective of complementing the retirement of the beneficiaries. The increase amounts to a sum to cover aid for daily activities.

Retirees who receive the benefit must be unable to carry out work activities. Thus, when there is a need for a companion, the person responsible for the assistance may be a family member and does not need to be a nurse or a contractor.
