Dr. Dieynne Saugo, who was bitten by a jararaca snake in a waterfall in the city of Nobres, in Mato Grosso, at the end of August, said yesterday that she was discharged from the hospital and said she was “100% cured” after being in a delicate situation and undergo three surgeries for poisoning.
“Hello guys. I have just been discharged from the hospital. Finally, with the grace of God. The decannulation was done and I am 100% cured and recovered so I can go home and celebrate this victory,” he said in an Instagram post.
Last week, she detailed the moment she was attacked. In an interview with Globo’s “Fantastic”, the doctor reported that the pain was unbearable and that she was bleeding.
“I was desperate because the pain was excruciating. My arm started to swell, I started throwing up over and over again, bleeding,” he said.
Dieynne Saugo also stated that she could not see exactly where the jararaca came from.
“I saw her get into the vest. In an attempt to protect me, when I took it off, I went swimming, screaming,” said the doctor, who said that she had taken the first bite in the face. “I just felt it fall close to my neck. The first sting was in that region (pointing to the face). Immediately after, I went with my left hand to take it and that’s when I took two stings on my hand.”
The doctor, who still found out he was with covid-19, said he plans to return to the waterfalls.
“I love nature. I love the waterfall, I will not stop attending,” he said.
The doctor, who was hospitalized for nine days in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of the Albert Einstein Hospital, in São Paulo, underwent three surgeries in 10 days.
