The PC (Civil Police) of Minas Gerais requested the exhumation of the body of the young Edisa de Jesús Soloni, 20 years old. The hairdresser died last Saturday (12) after performing three cosmetic procedures at a plastic surgery clinic in Belo Horizonte.
According to the Police, the exhumation request was made to identify “inconsistencies” between the reports from the Belíssima Clinic, where the young woman performed the procedures, and the death certificate, which identified the pulmonary embolism as the cause of death.
“The exhumation will help detect inconsistencies in the medical reports and records provided by the hospitals and the death certificate,” police said in a note sent to Twitter.
The corporation further confirmed to the Twitter that researchers and an expert doctor from the PC, specialized in plastic surgery, went to the Belíssima clinic yesterday morning to continue the investigations into the young woman’s death.
“During the work, the suspect responsible for the surgical intervention and the anesthetist were listened to. The investigators reviewed the entire structure of the clinic and the equipment used in the procedures.”
In addition, the PC said that it would request the “temporary suspension of the work of the clinic’s activities.”

Edisa performed three plastic surgeries on Friday (11) and, a day later, her condition worsened and she was transferred to the Felício Rocho Hospital, however, she died the same day. The death certificate indicates that the cause of death was a pulmonary embolism.
Semea Soloni, sister of the hairdresser, told the Twitter that since May the young woman planned to carry out the “dream” of having these surgeries and points to the negligence of the doctor responsible for the procedure.
For the sister and family, the doctor knew that there was a recommendation to perform the operation in a hospital, however, he decided to do it in the clinic.
