A homophobic comment to a flight attendant on a Latin American plane was enough for a passenger to be expelled from the flight, this Monday (9/14). On the aircraft that carried out the LA-3333 segment (São Paulo / Guarulhos – Fortaleza), the flight attendant asked the passenger, who was sleeping, to put the seat in the take-off position. To which the traveler reacted: “Shit.”

The commission reported the case to the flight commander, who was also cursed: “Other shit.” The Federal Police from Guarulhos airport was called and the homophobic subject was removed from the plane.

In social networks, the Latam airline stressed that it will not accept passengers with homophobic attitudes. “We strongly reject any type of offense and any opinion that contradicts respect does not reflect the values ​​and principles of the company,” says the company.

“We are at your disposal. We also reinforce that we follow the highest safety standards, strictly complying with the regulations of national and international authorities,” the message concluded.
