A cold front appeared this Tuesday (15) in Mato Grosso do Sul, welcoming the spring, which begins next Tuesday (22). With this, also comes the expectation of changes in the dry and hot climate that prevails in much of the country, causing even large-scale fires.

Relative air humidity is high in the southwest at the beginning of the day, with temperatures ranging between 24 ° C and 36 ° C in Campo Grande. However, humidity drops a lot throughout the day, matching other areas of the state. The variation will be from 90% to 10%, considered a state of emergency by the WHO (World Health Organization).

Temperatures remain high and the estimated variation for Mato Grosso do Sul is from 17 ° C to 38 ° C. Dourados registers temperatures between 18 ° C and 35 ° C; Três Lagoas: 23 ° C to 37 ° C; Corumbá: 21 ° C to 32 ° C.

Next days

According to Climatempo, a large cold front should reach Brazil in the last days of winter and at the beginning of the new season. Although there is much expectation of rain, the estimated volumes are low and should not occur for many days.

Mato Grosso do Sul may have rains in some areas of the southwest region on Saturday (19) and Sunday (20) in some parts of the Pantanal region. A little more accumulation is expected for the afternoon and evening of Monday (21), this time also for the central-north and eastern regions.

Despite being a cold front, impacts on MS will be slightly milder than current temperatures and an improvement in relative humidity from Sunday. Before that, the mass of hot, dry air must intensify in all areas.

Climatempo points out that the indications of volume and positioning of the rain can change with the passing of the days, requiring monitoring to confirm the trend.
