Parrerito singer of Hard Stop Threesome, died at age 67 on Sunday night (9/13), after complications caused by covid-19. Parrerito was diabetic and had kidney and heart complications, but the cause of death has not yet been revealed. The singer leaves behind a wife and at least four daughters.
The singer was diagnosed with covid-19 on August 29, when he was in a boarding school. Three days later, the singer suffered a sudden illness and was transferred to the ICU in serious but stable condition, with 50% of the lung affected. The singer did not resist and died this Sunday around 10pm.
The other members of the Trio Parada Dura, Creone and Xonadão, tested negative for the disease. Parrerito’s wife contracted the disease, but recovered at home.
According to the press office, the time and place of the wake have not yet been defined because the relatives are waiting to know what the protocol will be like, since the artist had contracted covid-19.

Parrerito was admitted 16 days ago to the Unimed Hospital, in Belo Horizonte (MG), with symptoms of the new coronavirus and, as he is in the risk group for age and diabetes, he had to be admitted to the ICU in serious condition. He struggled a lot, but unfortunately could not resist the complications of the disease. The family members and the team of Trio Parada Dura are grateful for all the currents of prayer and faith formed during the struggle for the life of Parrerito. They showed how much he was so loved and esteemed by all. And that’s how we will always remember it. Like the swallow, Parrerito flies off and leaves an entire Brazil longing for his voice that for almost four decades has marked generations in Trio Parada Dura. It will forever remain in our hearts and in the memory of country music. Parrerito leaves behind a wife, daughters and granddaughters who were his great passion. Go with God, Parrerito!
