The journalist Mariana Becker drew the public’s attention with her communication skills during the broadcast of Formula 1 this Sunday (13), on Globo. The reporter even spoke in four different languages while conducting live interviews with some drivers at the Tuscan Grand Prix and was praised on social media.
Several viewers echoed Mariana’s conversation on Twitter with Frenchman Pierre Gasly, from the AlphaTauri team. She started the conversation in the pilot’s native language, then improvised a question in English during the chat and spoke back to the narrator Everaldo Marques again in Portuguese.
In an interview with the Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr., from McLaren, the journalist again used her linguistic knowledge and led the conversation in her mother tongue, Spanish.

Premiere of Everaldo Marques
The broadcast of the Tuscan Grand Prix, from Italy, as marked by the 1000th round of the Ferrari team in the category, the debut at the Mugello circuit and also the debut of the journalist Everaldo Marques in the narration of Formula 1 on Globo.
The “rookie” was even welcomed by Galvão Bueno, who has held the position at Globo for years. On social media, Marques also had the support of professional colleagues such as commentators Ana Thais Matos of SporTV and Leonardo Bertozzi of ESPN.
