HE Guild announced on Friday night the hiring of left-back Diogo Barbosa, from Palms.

To keep the winger, Grêmio paid R $ 10 million for 25% of the rights that Verdão has for the athlete (50% total).

There is also a clause in the contract that gives the Rio Grande do Sul team the option to acquire an additional 25% of the athlete for 1.5 million euros (R $ 9.4 million, at the current price).

Diogo was hired by Palmeiras do Cruzeiro at the end of 2017.

In just over two years in Palestra Itália, he was the 2018 Brazilian champion and the 2020 Paulistão champion.
