An employee was denounced by the young Isabelle Pacheco, 19, for trying to record him in the changing room of a clothing store in a shopping center in Sorocaba (SP). In testimony at the city’s Police Department for the Defense of Women (DDM), the man confessed to the crime and said that he had been doing this for at least a year and that he had filmed about eight women in the dressing room. Information is from G1.
According to the police, the employee’s cell phone was detained and will be examined by experts. The case was made public after the young woman published a video reporting what happened to her on the September 7 holiday. According to Isabelle, the man tried to record it by passing his cell phone under the dressing room door.
After the episode, the victim left the store and registered a police report for the crime of sexual dignity, which consists of producing, photographing and filming intimate images without authorization. The man had no criminal record and said he quit his job.
In a note to G1, the Pernambucanas store declared that it regrets what happened and strongly rejects each and every act of disrespect and offense to privacy. “The person mentioned is no longer part of the company’s staff,” he reported.
