The Special Secretary for Culture, Mario Frias, requested by letter to the institutions linked to the folder that all publications on social networks, websites and official portals be sent to it in advance, for evaluation and, where appropriate, authorization to publish the material. The information is from the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo.
The entities linked to the secretariat are: National Film Agency (Ancine), National Library (FBN), Casa de Rui Barbosa Foundation (FCRB), Palmares Cultural Foundation (FCP), National Arts Foundation (Funarte), the Brazilian Institute of Museums (Ibram) and the National Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage (Iphan). The letter was sent on Friday (4).
According to the document, notices, public calls and other instruments such as cooperation agreements must also be previously sent to the secretariat. As well as appointments, exonerations and other requests that involve commissioned positions and functions of trust, which will later be sent to the office of the Minister of Tourism, a portfolio to which Culture is subordinate.
Also according to the letter, the requests are supported by Decree 10.449, of August 7, 2020, which puts into effect the role of the secretariat to oversee entities linked to the cultural sector.
