The intention is to award the aerodrome as soon as the studies are completed. Infraero will continue to operate the equipment until December 2020, without fees for the state administration.
After that period, the state can choose to stay permanently with the airport, or if it returns to Unio, and continue in the 7th Round of Federal Government Concessions. It all depends on the quality and feasibility of the studies received at PMI.
