One of the witnesses heard in the investigation of the murder of Pastor Anderson do Carmo, shot to death in June 2019 at the house where he lived in Niterói, in the Rio metropolitan region, said he was the victim of a bomb attack in the morning Friday (4). The Civil Police conducted an on-site investigation and investigated the case.
Denounced on charges of ordering the crime, Federal Representative Flordelis (PSD-RJ), Anderson’s wife, was not only arrested for having parliamentary immunity. She should be notified next Tuesday (8) by the Ministry of the Interior of the Chamber about the investigation process that may culminate with the termination of her mandate.
Businesswoman Regiane Rabello, 40, told the Twitter that the attack caused panic among residents of the Itaipuaçu neighborhood, in Maricá, in the Rio metropolitan region. “My neighbors are afraid. This type of thing never happened here,” he reported. She said she was already in bed when she heard the explosion and saw a flash through the window.
When I heard it, I thought my car had exploded in the garage. It was a homemade bomb, which fell on the side of my house. After the explosion, the shrapnel was left on the ground. The police have already done the investigation

The businesswoman believes that Flordelis has the collaboration of other children to intimidate witnesses. “It is a family of criminals. It was an attempt to intimidate me, so that I would withdraw. But the effect was different, I gained more strength. They will not shut me up,” he said.
Regiane has a close relationship with Lucas Cézar dos Santos de Souza, Flordelis’s adopted son, arrested on suspicion of involvement in the crime. “She communicates with me by letter. And she is happy with the outcome of the case. She believes that justice is being served.”
In a statement, Flordelis’s defense denies any involvement of the deputy in the attack. “All crime must be investigated and all complaints investigated. It is very irresponsible to make any kind of illusion behind attention and sensationalism. If there was, that the police investigate, investigate and punish the person responsible, ”he says.
It was not the first attack on witnesses to the crime. A daughter-in-law of Flordelis revealed concerns for the family’s safety after testifying against her mother-in-law. She said she suffered threats and was harassed by supporters of the deputy on social media. “I am afraid, I will not lie,” he told the newspaper “Extra”.
Others investigated for the murder
In parallel, investigations into the murder are ongoing. After the arrest of seven children and a granddaughter of the deputy, the Rio Civil Police are now investigating the suspicion of the participation of four other people close to the family in the crimes that led to Anderson’s murder – a pastor, a cook, a driver and a granddaughter. .
Flordelis is not only in prison because he has parliamentary immunity. But I believe that the mandate will be revoked, because his conduct is incompatible with parliamentary decorum. She is just as dangerous or more dangerous than the people who have been arrested. The crime only happened for her.

“The truth will prevail,” says Flordelis.
Anderson was shot dead inside the house in the early morning of June 16, 2019 in Niterói, Rio’s metropolitan region. Five sons and a granddaughter of the parliamentarian were detained in preventive custody for their participation in the crime on August 24. Two other children, one biological and one adopted, were already in detention after the murder. In total, 11 people were reported.
On Wednesday (2), on a social network, Flordelis stated that she did not kill her husband and believes that “the truth will prevail.” In the published text, accompanied by an image with a biblical message, the pastor says that the media has been handling the case “in the most cruel way” and that she is being “condemned without even having the right to a trial.”
