Younger elementary students in ES must return to school in November

In the schedule stipulated in the Resumption Plan, the return of activities would be divided into four stages. The first stage will welcome and plan the teachers and will last for seven days. The second would have the return of high school, vocational education and youth and adult education (EJA) students, with a duration of 15 days due to the weekly changeover. The third would contemplate the return of students from the last years of primary school, also with a duration of 15 days. And, finally, in the fourth stage, the return of students from the initial grades of primary school, also considering the weekly rotation and the period of 15 days.

Thus, students in the initial grades of primary school would return to face-to-face activities only in the first half of November, if the expectation of the state government to resume classes on October 1 comes true, since there would be a window of seven days for return of teachers and another two that add up to 30 days for return and replacement of students in the previous stages.

Although the return to basic education is being analyzed, the return to higher education is already marked. Universities will be able to receive students from September 14.

“As of September 14, we removed the restrictions on higher-level activities. Both higher education, 3rd grade, master’s, doctorate, specialization. This also includes those who are completing technical courses at Senai, State Government, for example. An institution that does not want to return, it can continue with remote activities, ”said Governor Renato Casagrande in a speech on Friday night (4).
