FGTS and PIS / Pasep have 5 modalities available in 2020; What to withdraw?

[ad_1]

Citizens who work or have already worked with an employment contract can now access the new modalities of the Time Guarantee Fund (FGTS) and wage subsidy PIS / Sep in 2020! In total, the federal government offers five withdrawal options to recipients.

They are: FGTS, with emergency retreat and birthday retreat; and the PIS / Pasep for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 calendar, in addition to the PIS / Pasep Quotas. See more details about the benefits below.

FGTS emergency recall

The new FGTS modality is similar to the immediate withdrawal, which ended in March of that year. The exchanges are of up to R $ 1,045 per beneficiary and comply with the following rules:

  • workers with more than one account must withdraw from the oldest and lowest value;
  • then, the current accounts enter, also beginning the withdrawals with the accounts with the lowest balance.

The official calendar of the FGTS follows the beneficiary’s month of birth. Initially, deposits are made through digital savings to pay bills and make purchases in physical and virtual stores. Release for withdrawals and transfers takes place weeks after the deposit date. Check out:

FGTS Birthday Retreat

Effective from April 1, 2020, the modality allows the annual reimbursement of part of the money from the Fund depending on what the worker has in the account, which may be active or inactive, from the current or previous job. Discharge dates are based on the month of birth. See:

2019-2020 salary bonus schedule

Those who worked on the employment contract in 2018, but did not withdraw the salary allowance in the last benefit calendar, have a new possibility to withdraw. The reason was the reopening of the 2019-2020 calendar, which had ended on May 29.

It is estimated that about 2.9 million people can withdraw the benefit of up to R $ 1,045 in this new term. It is important to note that the reopened calendar uses the same dates as the most recent one, which makes it easier for workers to understand during trades. Check out:

5 – FLOOR / Pasep levels

Recently extinguished by the federal government, the PIS / Pasep Fund had its funds transferred to the FGTS. The objective is to increase the volume of money available for profit and thus mitigate the impact of the economic crisis caused by the new coronavirus.

However the withdrawal by quota holders is still allowed. PIS / Pasep fees are specifically intended for those who worked on a formal contract between 1971 and 1988 and have not yet withdrawn the funds. There is no fixed withdrawal amount.

If the worker is deceased, family members can also rescue, provided the relationship is proven. To do this, the following documentation must be presented at Caixa (PIS) or Banco do Brasil (Pasep):

  • Certificate or declaration of dependents entitled to the death pension issued by the INSS;
  • Certificate provided by the employer, in the case of public servants;
  • Legal license that designates the successor / legal representative, indicating the PIS to which the benefit refers, and the Identity Card of the successor / legal representative (in the absence of the certificate of qualified dependents);
  • Formal sharing / Public deed of inventory and sharing (judicial or extrajudicial).
  • If there is consensus among the successors, the withdrawal of the balance will not depend on inventory, delivery or judicial authorization, provided that they sign a written term authorizing the withdrawal and declaring that there are no other known successors.
