A witness in the investigation into the death of Pastor Anderson de Carmo informed the police that a homemade bomb was thrown on his house early this Friday (4). The Niterói, São Gonçalo and Itaboraí Homicide Police Station (DHNSGI) is investigating the case.

According to the Civil Police and the Public Ministry, Federal Deputy Flordelis, the pastor’s wife, is being investigated as the intellectual author of the murder.

Flordelis was charged with the crime, but was not arrested for possessing parliamentary immunity. The police can only carry out an arrest warrant in the event of loss of the parliamentary mandate.

The Ethics Commission of the Chamber of Deputies has begun a process of analysis of the case that may culminate with the termination of its mandate. The project needs to go through the plenary, but the parties have already decided that they will approve it.

The deputy’s case will now be referred to the Chamber’s internal affairs department, which will prepare a report and then submit it to the Board of Directors for analysis. Then the case must be referred to the Ethics Council. After being notified, the deputy will have 10 days to present her defense in writing.

Children in different prisons

This Friday, the Rio de Janeiro court ruled that the children of federal deputy Flordelis, arrested on suspicion of participating in the death of Pastor Anderson do Carmo, must remain in separate prisons.

In the decision, the judge indicates that the seven children would be divided into only two penitentiary units (one female and one male), but they had to be separated and away from brother Flávio, who was designated as the executor of the shots.

“If there are indications of attempted manipulation of evidence, to safeguard the criminal investigation, I determine that these prisoners are held in different penitentiary units, as far away as possible and without any contact with the accused Flávio,” says the magistrate.

The Civil Police and the Rio de Janeiro State Prosecutor’s Office (MP-RJ) discovered text messages on cell phones that reinforce the suspicion that the deputy planned to kill her executed husband with more than 30 shots on June 16, 2019 in the door. from home, in Niterói.

Justice has already accepted a complaint against the congresswoman, who became the defendant in the case. Six of her children and a granddaughter are in prison.
