Pastor Anderson do Carmo’s access to the backstage of power in Brasilia upset his wife, federal deputy Flordelis. This is one of the conclusions of the investigation carried out to investigate the murder of the pastor, in June of last year. Flordelis is accused of ordering the death of her husband.
According to information from the survey released by Extra, Anderson would have replaced Flordelis both in his religious activities and in the parliamentary sphere. To increase his access to the House of Deputies, Anderson befriended the cleaning assistants.
“He took all those people, security, janitors, the ones who served coffee. Most were evangelicals and those who were not were transformed. What did he do? He created a service for all these people and went there to preach on weekdays at 7 pm. With that I got what I wanted, a free pass to come and go wherever I wanted ”, describes one of the former regulars of the pastor’s service.
Anderson’s access to the premises of the Chamber of Deputies, politicians and even President Jair Bolsonaro came to be seen as a threat by Flordelis. “He decided everything and put the house in order. Today, the family is totally divided. The children fought too much, because the pastor was the one who had a firm hand, ”says Luana Rangel, the marriage’s daughter-in-law.
