The National Institute of Social Security (INSS) He said that the benefit payments awarded by the Court will be made automatically this month. The initiative aims to speed up and simplify the transfer of these resources.
They will be awarded the Automatic payment those who receive the benefit of continuous installment payment (BPC – Loas). The benefit guarantees monthly payments of R $ 1,045 to elderly or disabled people in a situation of financial vulnerability.
Automatic payments will be made through a partnership between INSS and the National Justice Council (CNJ). The systems of these agencies will be interconnected, ensuring rapid payment for policyholders who obtain assistance benefits through lawsuits.
Currently, the service related to the granting of benefits for litigation mobilizes several employees of the INSS, which makes the process slower. In this way, a court order that took months to comply can be resolved in a matter of hours.
With the interaction and automation of the systems, in addition to reducing the analysis time, the process will be even safer, since it will be possible to avoid possible errors.
According to the auxiliary judge of the Presidency of the CNJ, Lívia Peres, the computerization of the processes will allow the magistrate to issue orders for the implantation or restitution of benefits directly to the INSS for immediate compliance with the decision.
It is estimated that at the beginning of the year, around 200 thousand judicial decisions were pending, awaiting compliance with the INSS. In many of them, the term had already expired.
