247 – The Lava Jato of São Paulo, emptied on Wednesday (2) after a collective resignation by prosecutors, has a collection of investigations ranging from former SP governor José Serra to the construction of the Ring Road, according to journalist Caio Junqueira, from CNN.
With the collective resignation request, the investigations are paralyzed.
The task force investigates Serra for money laundering and also seeks to understand the enrichment of his daughter, Verónica. There are also findings on Ronaldo César Coelho, designated as José Serra’s financial operator who built a multi-million dollar inheritance. José Amaro Pinto Ramos is also under investigation as the former governor’s financial operator.
Paulo Vieira de Sousa, a possible PSDB financial operator, is also on the Lava Jato list and was about to be denounced for the fifth time.
The operation also investigated illegal activities in the construction of Rodoanel Sul and Rodoanel Norte. The first is directly linked to Serra. The second involves the management of former Governor Geraldo Alckmin. In this case, the task force investigates shell companies abroad involved in a corruption scheme.
Former minister Gilberto Kassab is also the subject of Lava Jato de São Paulo investigations for contracts related to the São Paulo road network when he was mayor of the capital. In the wake of Kassab, Alexandre Baldy is also investigated.
Lava Jato also analyzes a billboard for the São Paulo Metro.
There are also complaints in the working group against a federal deputy for SP who had laundered approximately R $ 10 million.
At the same time, the group is investigating members of the financial system based on Antonio Palocci’s complaint.
Two companies were still in a “very advanced” stage of negotiation to close two leniency agreements with Lava Jato.
The task force is even investigating a possible case of corruption in the construction of the Corinthians stadium, with the club’s president, Andrez Sanches, as the main suspect. According to sources, the investigations may run into Gilberto Kassab in former President Lula and former Minister Fernando Haddad.
