The course change can be even greater. After Messi considered staying at Barcelona, it is Luis Suárez’s turn to do the same. At least that’s what the Italian newspaper “Corriere dello Sport” says. The possible stay of the Argentine would provide conditions for the Uruguayan friend to also continue his career in Spain. And with that, it would frustrate Juventus plans.
The newspaper printed on its front page this Friday a large image of the South American duo and the headline: “Leo blocks Suárez.” He also says Juve thinks of Roma’s Bosnian Dzeko as a possible plan B. The Uruguayan became La Vieja’s target after being sidelined by Barcelona’s new manager Ronald Koeman.

The plans, however, must change. The information from the Spanish and Argentine media is that, after Thursday’s matches, Messi is more likely to fulfill his contract until the end and then have a friendly exit from Barcelona.
The Argentine’s bond is until June 2021. The shirt 10, 33, does not want a legal dispute. The station “Deportes Cuatro” caught Jorge Messi, father and agent of the attacker, upon his arrival at one of the meetings with Barça lawyers and officials. Jorge was asked if his son could stay at the club and he only answered “yes”.
To make the environment more favorable to Messi’s stay, Barcelona and coach Ronald Koeman would be willing to not let 33-year-old Luis Suárez go. And the Uruguayan, for his part, would not spare another season with his best friend and best field partner of his career.

A Uruguayan shirt exit 9 it has been broadcast since Koeman’s arrival in Barcelona. Juventus would have agreed with the forward and would be waiting for the termination between the player and the Catalan team. Suarez, however, is not willing to break the bond without receiving compensation.
He has a contract with Barça until June 2021, with an automatic renewal clause if he completes 60% of the matches in which he is available. Suárez and Messi have been together at Barcelona for six seasons. The pair scored 412 goals in 259 games in the period.
