A man, 48 years old, former parishioner of the federal deputy church FlordelisHe affirmed in testimony to the Civil Police that the pastor attracted faithful to have sexual relations with them. According to the witness, he frequented Flordelis’s house and was a church “worker” at the time she worked in the Rocha neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. After spending time with her family, she became aware of what she called an unusual activity, “in which people who attended services were lured into the house” to have sex with the deputy.
Like the man at the time, Flordelis and Pastor Anderson were already married. The witness also reported having been seduced by the deputy on two occasions, but denied having had sexual relations with her.

Death investigation
At the end of August, the Civil Police concluded that Flordelis was the mastermind behind the murder of Anderson do Carmo. The investigation indicates that the weapon used in the crime was bought by the deputy. Flávio dos Santos, Flordelis’s biological son, is designated the author of the shots that killed the pastor.
According to investigations, the deputy would be unhappy with the way the pastor handled the family’s money.
In addition to Flordelis, ten more people were denounced for the murder of the pastor in the early morning of June 16, 2019 in Niterói. For exercising the parliamentary mandate, Flordelis cannot be arrested at this time. His defense denies the charges.
