The Department of Internal Affairs of the Public Ministry of Santa Catarina (MPSC) said on Tuesday (1st) that it will evaluate the case of a prosecutor who laughed when he said that “the girls are being beaten by c *” in a video filmed during the break up with an online class.

The prosecutor in question, Jonnathan Kuhnen, who works in São José, in Greater Florianópolis, confirmed the video and said that he is a doctoral student in law and is in an “informal moment”. He also said that the phrase “was distorted from the context.”

The video showed a cell phone, which broadcast the class interval, on Saturday (29). In the broadcast, the prosecutor said that “the girls are being beaten” and laughed. Other colleagues also laughed. So the prosecutor said “what’s wrong, I feel sad, right, because … I can’t, it’s because it’s a situation too sui generisright, friends? The boy has come home. Anything is a reason for … right? “.

Another colleague intervened: “It doesn’t justify, true, but anyway.” The prosecutor continued “it does not justify it, but well, look, even the uncle puts a deal here, the woman says ‘no, put the pillow over there.’ There is only one reason.” The speech generated more laughter from the peers.

The video was obtained by G1 with one of the students, who asked not to be identified.

The promoter confirms the video

In an interview with G1Kuhnen said that “it was an informal academic environment, where there was no class during recess and we are talking about various events.”

“All of us who were there talking were in the sense that we were worried, even I say it ‘makes me sad,'” he continued. “There was a concern. We are indeed in a special situation, where people stay at home. Any reason can be cause for discussion. That was the context of the conversation,” said the prosecutor.

“It was an isolated context, in an informal moment, outside of school hours, it was a break, we stayed in the room talking. The person who did this took advantage of this moment, ended up filming only what mattered, ”he said. “I’m sorry that that wasn’t the connotation, it was totally divorced and distorted from the context. It doesn’t represent my opinion,” he said.

“I’m already with my lawyer, let’s take legal action, identify the person or persons,” said the prosecutor. At MPSC, he works in the criminal field.

The Facvest University Center (Unifacvest) confirmed that Kuhnen is not a professor at the institution, but did not comment on the video.
