A truck that was searched by the Fire Department since the first day of searching for the victims of the rupture of the Córrego do Feijão dam, in Brumadinho, was located on Tuesday (1st).
The vehicle appears in the images of the break in the ridge of the structure and is strategic in locating one of the victims, who has not yet been found, according to the Fire Department.
Until the publication of this report, teams were digging through the thick mud to check for bodies. The expectation is that the work continues until morning.
The mud, which gushed out of the dam on January 25, 2019, destroyed the administrative part of Vale and part of the houses in the region, killing 270 people. Eleven are still missing.
In March, searches had to stop because of the coronavirus, after more than a year of the largest rescue operation in the country’s history. The resumption of work took place last Thursday (27).
