PA: The city council rents a motel to establish a field hospital for Covid-19

The city of Prainha, in Pará, rented a motel in the city to set up the structure of a field hospital to face the new coronavirus pandemic. The event went viral on social media this week after the state attorney’s office shared on social media that she went to the site for an inspection.

According to the Public Ministry, the field hospital began its activities on April 27. Outpatient care began on June 15. The site exclusively caters to people suspected of Covid-19.

According to the City Council, consultations, examinations, dispensing of medicines and patient orientation are carried out at the site. The property has 11 rooms, six of which are intended for the hospitalization of patients.

Also in accordance with the MP-PA, the conclusion of the survey will be sent to the 9th CRS / SESPA, for control, follow-up and recommendation purposes. The inspection will also grant subsidies for the Prosecutor’s Office to issue Recommendations and other necessary measures.
