What was supposed to be another fun afternoon at the traditional kite festival in Hsinchu, Taiwan, ended in moments of terror for a young girl. The three-year-old girl was lifted into the air by a kite and flew through the sky for 31 seconds.
This Sunday (30), a strong gust of wind hit the place and raised the kite. The girl, who had her arm resting on the giant ‘toy’, was coiled by it and thus lifted. From there, people screamed desperately, as the girl turned and turned. Luckily, the wind itself caused the kite and the boy to return to the ground, slowly, which avoided a dreaded sudden fall. Some of those present recorded the moment on video. The images are impressive and the 31 seconds of recording seems like an eternity.
