According to the information collected, the PCC used members imprisoned in other states, such as São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Pernambuco, to attract new members to the prisons in Rio.

For traffickers to act as members of the PCC even outside of Rio de Janeiro, conversations in groups of chat applications are frequent, as PF investigations showed. The state is considered strategic for the criminal organization.

Threats and conversations about orders from members of the faction were shown on RJ1 regarding the possible death of the prison guards.

In 2018, Marcela das Chagas, considered by the Civil Police as the main name of the PCC in Rio de Janeiro, was arrested in an operation to combat drug trafficking in the São Carlos complex.

Marcela was the trusted person of the drug trafficker Fábio Henrique de Farias, known as Tinésio, the leader of the CCP in the state who was arrested in June of that year. Tinésio was hiding in Complexo da Maré, in the North Zone, and was responsible for recruiting members for the free PCC in Rio de Janeiro. With her arrest, Marcela became the main link of the São Paulo gang with the Rio faction.

One of the main names of “Sintonia” (as the regional groups of the PCC are called) in Rio de Janeiro, is Paulo Henrique da Silva, who is imprisoned in the Nelson Hungria prison, in Minas Gerais. One of them is Lucas Daniel Dinelly da Silva, known as “Barone”, investigated for the actions of the criminal organization in Pernambuco. The “Barone” himself does not live in Pernambuco, but in Belém, Pará.

One of them is Joaquim Bernardo dos Santos Neto, known as “Joka”. He acts as an assistant to another investigated person, Tatiana do Carmo Machado, Libriana, in the registration of the new members of the faction. Even in the jail of the ASP Lindolfo Terçariol Filho Penitentiary, in Mirandópolis, São Paulo, he is a member of the group in Rio de Janeiro.

A few days later, a new connection between “Joka” and “Libriana” reveals that one of the perpetrators of the assault was already “in the hands” of the members of the criminal group.
