Families of almost 40 thousand detainees they had delayed approval of the R $ 600 emergency aid and Dataprev placed them in a new round of analysis. According to the federal government, the searches were made on behalf of the prisoners, who are not entitled to the benefit. Therefore, all family members will also be reevaluated.

In a note sent to G1, the Ministry of Citizenship declares that the records made with the CPF of a detainee as an applicant will not be approved, since “they do not meet the criteria of the worker”. On the part of family members, you will not receive beneficiaries of other social programs, such as prison aid. Remember the rules here.

Of the 98 million records processed, Dataprev claims to have identified 1.5 million CPFs that had “scenario complexity”. Of these, 39,251 requests were made by prisoners or contain prisoners in their family composition. “There is no withholding of emergency aid for being a family member of a detainee. Yes, of detainees,” the note says.

The case came to light after the Federal Prosecutor for the Rights of Citizens, the Federal Public Ministry, asked him if there would be restrictions to grant emergency aid to relatives of refugees in institutions, “such as prisons, shelters or institutions to long term”. .

The Ministry of Citizenship replied that it used the databases of the National Penitentiary Department (Depen) and the closed regime in São Paulo to temporarily suspend the payment of family members.

“The applications were classified as withheld, after crossing the databases of Brazilian prisoners. But this is not a criterion established by law,” says Julio José Araujo Junior, a lawyer for MPF.

“There is no legal provision for differentiation by family relationship with the detainee,” he says. “We send it to colleagues who are presenting specific actions, but we will take steps to challenge at the national level.”

Wanted, Dataprev did not respond.

The last balance of payments published by the bank, at 12 noon on Tuesday (13), indicated that so far R $ 35.5 billion had been credited to 50 million Brazilians, the same figures reported since April 30. Meanwhile, millions of Brazilians waiting for the benefit still do not know if and when they will receive it.

Caixa and the Ministry of Citizens postponed the payment schedule for these fees, previously scheduled from April 27 to 30, and did not give new dates. Only workers who are already beneficiaries of Bolsa Família have a date to receive, since payments follow the program schedule.

Questioned by G1, Caixa reported that it expects the publication of the calendar of the next deliveries of Emergency Aid by the Federal Government. The bank is waiting for Dataprev to send information about a new batch of records.
