Gugu Liberato’s two twin daughters, Marina and Sofia, appointed a lawyer and went to court to accuse their aunt, Aparecida Liberato, of not being responsible as inventors of the presenter’s assets.
They ask that Aparecida, chosen by the presenter himself to manage his estate, provide information on life insurance and private pensions “and other titles with automatic exchange in case of death” in the name of Gugu.
They also ask that the aunt “give account and clarify the destination and who is in custody of the goods and values that guarded the residences of the cujus [Gugu Liberato], especially works of art and valuable paintings, collection of watches, jewelry, precious stones, gold, safes and cash in real estate and offices located in Brazil. “
According to the young women, “the fate given to the assets that guarded Gugu’s residence” in São Paulo remains a mystery, including “money in kind kept there, but that it was no longer there when the three children arrived in Brazil for the funeral , accompanied by Father Rose [Di Matteo, mãe das jovens].
They also want Aparecida to account for its management, with respect to the amounts administered and spent by and on behalf of the Estate, “including the amounts and resources earned” with property rentals, profit distribution, premiums and dividends of the Gugu companies.
According to them, “the inventor also insists on not being responsible for its management, both for the amounts redeemed, and, equally, for the values received and earned by the assets of the estate, in flagrant disrespect” to the judicial decisions.
The report made by Gugu’s daughters in the petition to Justice shows that there are differences even for the purchase of cars for them, a request that Aparecida would not have sent.
They also claim that his aunt has been appointed manager of the Gugu companies, without authorization to do so.
The publicist for Aparecida Liberato says that the nieces’ lawyer, Viviane Ricci, was trained by her own mother, Rose Di Matteo, and that the younger daughters were influenced to sign the contract together.
Rose filed a lawsuit seeking recognition of a stable union with Gugu.
According to Aparecida’s adviser, Viviane is a personal friend and witness to Rose in this process.
Attorney Nelson Wilians, who represents widow Rose Miriam, declined to speak. But he says he understands that the attitude of the heirs “is perfectly legitimate.”
