The government promised to announce the calendar last week, which did not happen, and President Jair Bolsonaro is expected to announce the new dates this week.
The Brazilians spent another weekend without knowing when the second installment of R $ 600 of emergency aid will begin to be paid. The announcement was scheduled for last Friday (8), but, according to the Minister of Citizenship, Onyx Lorenzoni, the dates will only be published by President Jair Bolsonaro, earlier this week. Which, until the publication of this report on Monday morning (11), did not happen.
Deposits for the second installment were slated to begin on the 27th, and even the government announced the advance of this payment on the 23rd. However, it then returned. Minister Onyx stated that additional credit for the program needed to be released, as the number of beneficiaries exceeded government expectations. The credit, however, was soon released.
The president of Caixa, Pedro Guimarães, announced that the schedule for this second installment would respect the beneficiary’s month of birth. In this way, those born in January and February, for example, would receive earlier than those born in November and December.
In the first installment calendar, which began on April 9, there was no such division. Payments were made when the government approved the registration of workers in the Caixa system.
