BRASILIA – The President Jair Bolsonaro He said Sunday that it will include new categories of essential services that can continue to function amid the pandemic of the new coronavirus. He also criticized states and municipalities again for measures related to social isolation.

He did not give details on which sectors will be opened. Last week, the president already issued a decree that expands the list of essential services to include civil and industrial activities and construction.
Bolsonaro has criticized what he considers excessive by state and municipal authorities and defends the reopening of a greater number of commercial establishments.
The president also indicated that he will veto the bill approved by Congress to help the Union to the states and municipalities. The proposal left several categories of officials out of the government employee pay freeze.
– As Paulo Guedes told me about the economic adjustments … Tomorrow we sanction the project with a veto and the part is resolved … everything has to work, despite the closings there – he said.
When asked by a journalist about the sanction of the project, the president did not agree.
