The note was published a day after protests in the country in defense of the reopening of trade and the end of isolation measures due to the pandemic. In the Brasilia law, messages were also seen calling for the closure of the National Congress and the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and the return of Institutional Law No. 5, used in the military government to punish opponents of the regime and accuse to parliamentarians. The messages caused repercussions among the political class, the judiciary, and civil society entities.
