Fux continues with proposal to change STF regulations

Minister Luiz Fux, president of the Committee of Rules of Procedure of the Supreme Federal Court, proceeded today with the proposal presented by Minister Marco Aurélio Mello, who suggested an amendment to the regime.

In his letter, Marco Aurélio requested that the Plenary make decisions regarding the performance of other powers.

Fux received the letter from the President of the Federal Supreme Court, Minister Dias Toffoli, who asked him quickly to analyze the issue. The minister gave the Office of the Attorney General and the Brazilian Bar Association a period of five days to comment on the matter. Then, the subject must be submitted to collegial deliberation in an administrative session.
