One of the main revelations of Corinthians in recent years, Pedrinho will play for Benfica, in Portugal, in the second half of 2020. Faced with the millionaire transfer, midfielder Fellipe Bastos spared no praise when speaking of the boy to the Portuguese press.

“He is a great signing. He is a very young boy, with a lot of quality, I followed him (in Corinthians) when he went from junior to professional. He is a different boy, a worker, he listens a lot to what the coaches tell him. He will be very successful in Portugal, despite being mild, “he said.
“He is very skilled and full of resources to escape some blows that he will surely take in Portugal. I support him a lot because he is a hard-working and very intelligent child. It will be a lot of work,” he added.
A starter to Timão last season, the young midfielder played just four games for Corinthians this year. It is worth mentioning that there is still no definition on whether he will return to play for the Alvinegro club or, after quarantine, will be reintroduced to the Portuguese club.
Pedrinho was promoted to professional in 2017. Since then, he has played 141 games and has rocked the networks 12 times. There were four titles won in this period: Paulista Championship (2017/18/19) and Brasileirão (2017).
