At least 12.4 million Brazilians who have requested emergency aid of R $ 600 (R $ 1,200 for single mothers) must re-register in the program application or in site ayuio.caixa.gov.br, said today (4) the president of Caixa Econômica Federal, Pedro Guimarães. According to him, this is the total number of subscribers who had their record classified as inconclusive, because Dataprev, a state-owned technology company that processes orders, was unable to analyze the information.
According to the president of Caixa, inconclusive records may be related to divergent data, such as the Individual Taxpayer Number (CPF), the address and information about the dependents. Guimarães emphasized that only citizens with applications considered inconclusive can redo the registration. Whoever rejected the benefit and was classified as ineligible cannot rectify the data.
According to the balance presented by Guimarães, of the 97 million requests for emergency assistance, 50.1 million were approved, 26.1 million were considered ineligible and 12.4 million were classified as inconclusive. There are still a total of 5.2 million records under analysis.
Second delivery
The Caixa president said he will publish the payment schedule for the second installment of emergency aid this week. Scheduled to start on April 23, the payment was postponed to early May because the number of orders exceeded the forecast, prompting the government to request additional credit in the Budget.
Guimarães reiterated that those registered in the Single Registry of Social Programs (CadÚnico) and the informal workers who registered in the site and in the application they will receive on different days the beneficiaries of Bolsa Familia to avoid crowds in the branches. Whoever is in Bolsa Família receives the benefit in the last 10 business days of the month, according to the last digit of the Social Register Number (NIS).
The Caixa president said he is waiting for the definition of the Minister of Citizenship, Onyx Lorenzoni, and President Jair Bolsonaro to reveal the new schedule.
Lines
According to Guimarães, increasing the opening hours of Caixa branches by two hours a day helped reduce the size of the queue of beneficiaries who want to withdraw the benefit in cash. As of today, all of the bank’s branches are open from 8 am to 2 pm for cash withdrawals and essential services such as card issuance and exchange.
On Saturday (2), only a few Caixa branches were open. Due to the queues, the institution decided to adopt extended hours at all branches. The bank reports that requests for information are resolved by the site ayuio.caixa.gov.br, through the Caixa Auxílio Emergencial application or by calling 111.
Until tomorrow (5), the beneficiaries who received the aid through Caixa’s digital savings account will be able to withdraw the first installment in cash. The bank reported that, from April 9 to 6 pm on Saturday (2), it had paid R $ 35.5 billion to 50 million Brazilians.
The site ayuio.caixa.gov.br registered 606.5 million visits, and telephone 111 has 115.8 million calls. The Caixa Emergency Aid application exceeds 74.3 million downloads and the Caixa TEM application, for the movement of digital savings (such as transfers and payments of tickets and household accounts), totals 77.2 million downloads.
