The Chevrolet Onix finished April first in sales. Despite losing the lead of the Hyundai HB20 in the first three weeks, Onix recovered and was the only car to break the 3,000-unit barrier. There were 3,619 plates, against 2,837 for the HB20, which finished second. Third place was the Chevrolet Onix Plus, with 2,223 sales. Therefore, the Chevrolet One-Two remains in the first four months.
Below these three are the other 16 models that managed to sell more than 1,000 units, but did not make it to the 2,000 house. The biggest surprise was the presence of Toyota Hilux, an expensive truck, in fifth place. Another good surprise was due to another Chevrolet car, the Tracker, which entered the top 10 ranking and was the best-selling SUV in April, with 1,395 license plates. The Jeep Renegade made a lot of recovery in the past week and finished second with 1,155 plates, just 60 more than another Jeep, the Compass. The numbers are from Renavam.

In addition to the cars shown in the table above, only four more models managed to exceed 1,000 units sold: Chevrolet S10 (1,100), Volkswagen Saveiro (1,090), Ford Ranger (1,070) and Renault Duster (1,015). Of the 19 vehicles that were broken down for each of the 1,000 cars sold, six are trucks, so they have tax incentives when the purchase is made by a rural producer.
